Theme and Colors: Diamonds with black, silver, and white accent colors.

Location: The AT&T Building, second floor, Pioneer's Room. This is a reception size hall that holds about 150 guests, with a full kitchen. The table and chairs were included in the room, as well as lounge areas, and the use of the Telephone Museum.

Tables and Chairs: The banquet tables were covered in black linens while the chairs were all different colors since the family did not want to spend that much extra money on chairs for three hours.

Centerpieces: Glass vases were filled wit white carnations, which were sprayed with silver glitter to give the illusion of sparkling diamonds. Between the vases were silver balloon weights with a balloon bouquet of black and silver baloons. Also on the table were white tin cans (about 2" tall) filled with chocolate coins that read "60th Wedding Anniversary"

Decorations: One requirement Bill Cash had was to stage a seating area for the couple to sit in while guest arrived. One of the chairs Bill brought to the hall was his mother's chair she sat in at her 50th wedding anniversary. A piano was sitting along next to this seating area with a day of photo of the couple and their two daughters. It was pretty funny to see who realised how recent this photo was taking. Many people commented on the four wearing the same get up as they currently were wearing, but hardly anyone realised it was because the photo was taken that day.

Photographer: Autumn, one of the grand-daughters, hired a high school student from the High School of the Performing and Visual Arts (HSPVA) to walk around and take photos, as well as set up a black background for family members to take photos for Autumn to mail off to the families. The 'photo shoot' was held in one of three lounge areas available for our use.

Sign-In Table: Name tags and the sign-in book where found here. The sign-in book was sitting on top of a pedistal Bill hand crafted, then donated to the Pioneers. A beautiful, tall, white floral arrangement was also found on the table, made up of different white flowers sprayed with the silver spray.

Entry Way: The hall had a french door entry way that grand-daughter Emily built an archway in front of the doors. Along the archway were lights and garland that was also hand creafted by Emily. Aside the archway were two columns Bill hand crafted himself in which the family bought ferns. Inside the ferns were white carnations, and these arrangements were also sprayed with the silver glitter.

Telephone Museum: During the party, the Pioneers opened the museum for their guests to view and walk around in. The museum is filled with all the different types of telephones that have ever been made. There is also a photo of Bill Cash speaking with an old Senator, installing a new phone in the Senator's office.

Food: Grandchildren Mark and Ashley Mangrum smoked pork lions and made a wine sauce; daughter Mary Beckman baked green beans and red potatos; daughter Marcia LaMarche III bought rolls; and Clara felt the need to contribute with potato salad. Tea, water, and coffee were served.

Cake Table: The grandchildren wanted to recreate the original cake, but there were not good photos of the cake, so the baker did the best she could do. The cake was made up of white cake with pineapple filling and buttercream icing. The cake napkins were black beverage napkins with a silver '60th Wedding Anniversary' design printed on one face. A beautiful white arrangement, created with many different type of white flowers, sprayed with the silver spray.

Parking: Well, there really is not parking here at the AT&T Building, so signs where posted at a church across the street, as well as street parking was available.
